April showers

When I am rich I would like to live somewhere that has the perfect climate – for me.

Warm enough so I won't need a coat.
Not so hot that long walks are uncomfortable.
No rain when I want to be outside.
Gentle showers to keep my garden watered.
Blue, blue skies.
Plenty of wind for kite-flying.
Not enough wind to mess up my hair.
Early morning mist to add a touch of magic.
No fog.
Snow deep enough for tobogganing and making snowmen, but only if combined with sunshine.
No snow or ice on roads.
Brief sparkles of frost to admire from indoors.
A few clouds to add interest to sunrises and sunsets.

Until then, I’ll adapt to the weather – as usual.

What kind of weather do you like best?

Have you been eavesdropping? I have spoken those very words! (along with a lot of things you say) Sometimes reading your blog is like hearing an echo from my own head.

Thanks for the kind words you left on my blog and for telling me your story - I was glad I read it, it truly is inspirational!

Furthermore am glad I found your blog to begin with, it's cute and uplifting, and this post is no different. Where was the photo taken by the way?

P.S. Thanks for the offer of afternoon tea :-)

Thank you, Christine
An award? I'll have to put up another shelf.

Hi, MzzLily
Obviously proof that great minds think alike!

Thanks for dropping in, Afternoon Tea Break
The photo was taken in my garden last year. It was warm and sunny when I planted some of these tiny violas so I carefully watered them every day so they didn't dry out. Then we had torretial rain that threatened to wash them away! They may be small but they're also tough and not only survived but multiplied!

Hi Linda. I made it over here at last. This is a great idea for a blog theme.

Thank you for visiting my blog and leaving a comment. I like the theme of your blog we could all probably write so many things we've wished for "when I am rich".

I particularly liked this post about your ideal weather conditions. I live in South Florida and in my opinion this is as close as one may get to perfect weather conditions... as least during the winter months. The summer does get almost unbearably hot but since we are close to the ocean we get a breeze and afternoon showers to cool us off.
