Where does it go?

When I am Rich I will have a time machine.

I don’t mean a device that travels into the past or future. I just want something that will slow time down to a reasonable pace.

When I was in my teens someone told me that the older you get, the faster time passes. I didn’t believe such nonsense. But now, I know it’s true. Each day seems shorter than the one before, weeks are suddenly over as soon as they’ve begun, and I can’t believe it’s March already! (Or that I haven’t posted anything on this blog for so long!)

I have been busy, but the other problem with getting older is that there is so much more I want to do. All those things I planned to do ‘one day’ when I had more time, for example!

Does anyone have any ideas on how I can work faster, or make the clock tick slower?

Horrible though it may seem, I think the only answer is to Do More Stuff. There have been times (even in recent years) when time stretched a bit further but it was always when I was squeezing too much in, running between different projects and places. And it doesn't feel slower at the time, only looking back. eg 'Was that just a week ago? Since then I've done x,y and z.' I'm not advocating Doing More Stuff, I'm just saying...

Yes, share the secret when you find out, please. You could make millions.

Thanks everyone, it's good to know I'm not the only one with this problem.
Brokenbiro - I think you're on the right track. I have noticed that when I've done lots of different things in a day it does seem to last a little longer than those days when I've been concentrating on just one project.

Mr J and I always say that Sunday is every third day. Wait until you're my age! It truly whizzes past at rocket speed.

Just popping back to say you might need to unfollow me as Being Miss and then follow again as Being Me if you want to keep getting posts. Hope you do! You have my profile picture in your followers but I don't think you get my posts any more since I messed about with my old blog ... Techno-useless, that's me.
