But does it taste any better?

I’ve just been reading about what is thought to be the world’s most expensive chocolate bar. Cadbury has wrapped one of its Wispa Gold bars in edible gold.

I suppose – if I was rich – I could easily afford the asking price of £961.48 (about US$1637). But for the same amount of money I could buy 1,748 Wispas in ordinary wrappers.

Or a year’s supply of my favourite organic, fair trade chocolate, and I'd still have some change in my pocket.

All that chocolate – or a little bit of gold?

No contest.

Hehehe I'd be more than happy to go halves with you....for the chocolate that is not the gold :-)

Thanks for the congrats on my blog. I am a very willing babysitter but they [like us] are very independent and we are rarely called for as little P joins in with all they do.

Chocolate without the gold any day. How and why do they come up with such gimmicks? Does it make people buy more Wispas? Ludicrous, tut, tut, tut.

Even if I were rich I think I would probably just take the regular Wispas and skip the gold.

I don't remember Wispas so I didn't know they had been discontinued, did I miss something good?
